Season’s greetings from the NZUA

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from NZUA

Season’s greetings! This has been a challenging year to put it mildly, and I hope you’ll be able to unwind and enjoy the festive season with family and friends.

At NZUA this year we’ve seen an increase in people diving or planning to dive locally, due to border closures as well as kiwis wanting to support local businesses and attractions. With summer now here, we’re expecting to see even more people enjoying the underwater world.

If you’re going diving this summer, please make sure you’re all set for safety before getting into the water. A few simple steps can ensure you have a great experience and get home safely, for example checking fitness and dive gear, using the buddy system and doing refresher training.

If you’re keen to stay connected with diving while you’re not in the water, Dive Pacific magazine is packed with outstanding content. What’s more, the NZUA – the proud new owners of Dive Pacific –is giving a special Dive Pacific gift to everyone! Find out more here.

From all of us at NZUA, merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Tristan Reynard, NZUA President

Regards,

Tristan Reynard

NZUA President
